GRADUATION DAY OF SAFAX ONE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADE 9

29th May 2018 Safax One Junior High School held graduation ceremony. This event was considered very special because it was held at Mercure Convention Center Ancol, North Jakarta.  The ceremony started at 9 am. The students of grade nine entered the room with MC guided. Then we sang Indonesia Raya and Mars Strada song. We also prayed to start our event.

First, we paid attention to Mr. Widi’s speech as the principal of Safax one Junior High School. Then the event continued with the medal ceremony from Mr. Widi and some teachers to all students of grade nine as symbolic of graduation. The next one was announcement of the winner of the highest score in National Examination. There were three students as the best students such as Lisa Monica (9A) in the first place, Shalom Stevano (9B) in the second place and Angelica Sugita (9B) in the third place. Moreover, there were some exciting games with prizes. All the students, teachers, and parents looked happy when the games time.

After we enjoyed the games, we had the break time to have lunch together. While we enjoyed the food we also talked about many things that we went through together. We talked about the memories that we through as friend. Then we entered the room again and prepared for the next show. We got the jacket which is the gift for us and we watched a video that consist of our photos from grade seven until grade nine. It made us surprise and sad. We also laughed and smiled together to remember that moment. Shalom and the parent gave the speech too. There were also some performances such as duck dance from Ms. Naomi, Stand-up Comedy from Mr. Heri, battle dance among Mr. Widi and Ms. Mila, Catwalk from Ms. Tari and Tobelo dance from parents, etc. And finally, we were at the end of the event. Each class took photo together. The photo will be very valuable memory for us. So here we are, it’s time to separate but separation or graduation is not the end of the story.
