Hello everyone, I want to tell you about my experience in scout camp.

Scout camp is one of my school activities every year. This year, the camp was held on 4^th until 5^th May 2018. At the day we departed at 7 am from school.We brought a lot of things that we need in camp, because of that the truck was full of our luggage. When we arrived in BupertaCibubur, we went straight to build our tent.The participants of scout camp struggledto build the tents such as my group. We worked together to build our tent and finally our tent is done, even though sometimes the tent fell down. After we build our tent, we have to attend the opening ceremony.

Our principal told that this camp built us to be independent and discipline because we were separated for two days without our parents. We usuallysleep with our siblings or parents but in the camp we have to sleep with our friends and control our self. After the opening ceremony we did some wide games.We had to answers the questions at a post, every posthadthe different questions based on the school subject, and some of the questions were difficult.It’s different than I thought. After we finished the wide games, we had to change our clothes because we would get dirty. It was group’s activity too or group challenge, we worked together in many challenges that really need our cooperation as agroup, and at the last challenge we crawled in mud until the finish line and our seniors put the mud in our face like it was a face mask. Of course after that we took a shower, we cleaned our self because this is a school scout camp.Many participants waited so long to take a shower and lot of girls took a very long shower included me but we didn’t feel clean.

When we’re done, then we cooked with our group for our meal. When we’re “full tank” we had a camp fire but suddenly it’s rainy and we waited the rain to stop. At the camp fire moment, some of us were inaugurated from basic to first until third class scout. When we were inaugurated we pronounced scout promise together. After that moment, we enjoyed the song and continued for a flash mob competition with our class, it was very fun. Then we rest for a minute to prepare our self for a night adventure.The teachers gave us a map and we went to the posts based on the teacher’s direction, like group A and B to the post 2 and group C and D to the post 5, and there were 10 posts. Well my group lost because we read the map in a wrong way, in the posts we had to answer the questions and we had to turn the answers into a sentence to give us direction of what we had to do at the final posts, and the answers were very tricky so I tried to matchit until we found the right answer. After we finished the night adventure, we slept in our tent together. Well at my tent was very loud, so it’s hard for me to fall asleep.

In the following day, 5th May 2018 our seniors woke us up.After all of us woke up, we did calisthenics or morning exercise and it’s led by our English teacher. While we felt fresh, we took a shower again and we cooked for the breakfast. We cooked fried rice for our breakfast. And we changed our clothes with school sport uniform and we competed as a class in sport competition which is relay race and baseball. It was very fun actually and we played fairly. After we had so much fun with sport competition, we changed our clothes with scout uniform.Certainly we cleaned up the tent and packed our luggage. Furthermore we attended the closing ceremony.Our principal was very grateful that thescout camp was going well. After the closing ceremony, the teacher announced the winners for some competitions at the campsuch aswide game, group challenge, flashmob and sport competitions. We closed the scout camp activities with happiness. After that we ate our lunch and put our luggage back to the truck and we went home. At the truck, some of us fell asleep because they were too tired. When we arrived at school we took back our luggage from the truck, we went home and met our families again. The participants of camp scout enjoyed and felt excited with the scout camp activities because we learned many things in there(Amanda8C).
